At least 70 animals were seized during a massive B.C. SPCA raid Tuesday evening in Surrey, possibly the largest in the province’s history.
According to spokesperson Lorie Chortyk, a search warrant was issued for the Surrey animal breeding and boarding facility just before noon.
The latest update provided at 5 p.m. Tuesday was that at least 70 animals had been taken into the SPCA’s care.
